      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I’ve been chewing on this for months and I can’t unsee it anymore. It was the crazy schitzo chinese professor who made me realize that chinese communism is meant to destroy the enemies of the market and create an environment where all the enemies of capitalism (religion, democracy, people power) are subordinated to the value of growth. Everyone still talks like it’s 1995: America = freedom &amp; individualism, China = commie monolith. That script is dead. What’s actually happening is a weird value swap across the Pacific.</p><p>China is aggressively importing pieces of the classical liberal West—Greek philosophy, Enlightenment ideas, meritocratic hunger, even reverence for old books while the United States has started importing the cultural and institutional pathologies you used to associate with failing third-world Marxist experiments.</p><p>Look at the Western canon right now.</p><p>In the Anglosphere you can literally get flagged on government extremism lists in the UK for teaching kids too much Shakespeare, Milton, or Hobbes. American English haven’t even heard of Plato. The Federalist Papers are “problematic” documents written by slavers.  Peking University and Tsinghua have serious classics departments doing Greek and Latin the way Oxford used to. The New Yorker ran a piece last year basically admitting the CCP is using Western philosophy as a kind of performance-enhancing drug for governance and cadre training. The market price of MSTR stock rarely aligns with the MNAV. The difference is the <strong>narrative premium.</strong> The MSTR price is essentially the market’s bet on the company’s ability to successfully run its arbitrage play.</p><h2>The MNAV Rainbow Chart: Judging the Reward</h2><p>Every cycle, we expect the “Rapture”—the price appreciation that validates the long HODL. This cycle feels different. When looking at the raw <strong>BTC Spot Price</strong>, the reward doesn’t feel as intense; the price doesn’t fully hit those peak euphoria bands. You can't regulate a Tesla the same way you regulate an iPhone. Wake up! These models are different sizes, with different capabilities. It's like worrying about aliens while your house is on fire.</p></li><li><p><strong>Ignoring Capabilities</strong>: Under chat, the current LLM models do not produce reliable enough output for large amounts of prose. Even under constraining techniques like RAG, the LLM models are still extremely limited in capability and consistency. Trying to maintain that they won't produce the recipe for nuclear weapons or hack the internet misunderstands capability and what much more pedestrian threats exist today. Any reasonable auditor would have to conclude that no safeguards can be placed on models which can be easily jailbroken, and thus no safeguards can be mandated about the output of these machines for a determined attacker.</p></li></ol><h2><strong>How to Make This Bill Great</strong></h2><ol><li><p><strong>Fix Bug Bounties</strong>: Anthropic has one of the best bug bounty programs and the max payout is $15k for jailbreaking an AI. We can measure the effectiveness of bug bounties if responsible disclosure becomes the norm as the price of the bounty meets the price of the market. If you can break our AI, you should be able to buy a house, not a nice dinner. Make it worth the while of the real talent out there. But what if these 'mistakes' are signs of democracy's resilience and ability to change?</p><p>Take the recent 'bowing mistake' by U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. To some, this minor misstep was a big error. But Yellen holds considerable power, especially in countries like China that rely on the U.S. dollar. Despite China's attempts to downplay its dependence, it struggles against the dollar's dominance. So, Yellen's incident seems less important.</p><p>Democracy also values open dialogue. This is clear in U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's approach to China. Despite calls for caution, his dialogue with China served a vital purpose - gathering intelligence.
